I'm leaving for Galveston on Wednesday. I guess you're going to get off light on your responsibilities this week, Jim.

You think? With you in Galveston, on the beach? Margaritas? I think my worries just got bigger! Patrick picked a fine time to load me up with this chore!

It is but as an owner it is something that I have to deal with and just grit my teeth and get the job done.

I love margaritas! But - they can be dangerous.

On a lighter note I picked up a John Deere 312 this weekend with a 54" hydraulic dirt/snow blade and 48" mower deck and now I can retire my four wheeler from plow duty in the winter and I dont have to use my walk behind mower for the bulk of my yard.

I bought a 65 John Deere round fender 110 last year as restoration project but only got as far as taking it appart. I got a good deal on the new tractor with the deck and blade for a couple hundred more than what I would have paid for a new plow for my four wheeler so I am pretty happy and cant wait to go get it.

Dave, when I was at my B-in-L's funeral in Longview last Friday, I spent the evening at his place. In his barns were a lot of "stuff" including a 1953 Ford Jubilee with a mower. There was also a new Kubota with 28 hours on it. It was huge, but I did not get the model number. Have no idea why he had that big of a tractor. His place is only about 25 acres.
