you probably can't over clean it unless you clean it every week

Go to the auto parts store and grab some mass air flow sensor cleaner. A company called CRC makes some.

afternoon

CRC works great, gave my MAP sensor a spray with it last year after I started getting a code from it, and made a nice difference. Guess after 20 years of gravel roads anything will get dirty . Or just drop in in with some jetdry
