I know I know a diesel makes more sense but teh wife is not very fond of diesels and would rather have the V-10, and it'll be pushing around 7#-8# of boost anyway
I love my diesel but there are times its a real PITA. And you answered my next question if you were going to leave it NA or charge it but I also knew in the back of my mind already what the answer would be.

Hey Jim.

Yeah supercharged ones I really hope I make a crap load of money to fund my truck addiction when I get older. I would love a V-10 F-150

well when you have a supercharger just hanging out you might as well use it right

it'll be a while before that happens considering I'm in Germany but I can run a built 4r75 and with a 4r70 stand alone box and custom converter and be fine wihtout needed a new driveshaft, (I'd have to use the V-10 ECM and wiring harness to get teh motor to run right and I could then use a manual ECM)

Wow...I am in love with your green Lariat.

I wish I knew how to do all that stuff. I Think a project I would like to do to start after college would be to shove a V-10 in an 03 FX4 Lariat Supercrew. I'd need some help, but that would be an awesome truck.

Jerame there is one thing that I really like about my diesel that you will never have with a gasser and that is tailgater deterent that comes out of the exhaust pipe. The vanes on my turbo are sticking again and its been really sooty when I lay into the throttle lately and I had a little Prius tailgating me when I made a turn yesterday and when I laid into it my truck gave the guy a little present in the form of a big black cloud of smoke needless to say he backed off in a hurry.

I used to love that, the exact reason my wife hates diesels, when I was going to college in wyoming I used to back 100% off on the hills then stomp it again real hard about 30 feet from passing cars a few had windows open it was great

but I just don't think a skeeter fog would look right coming out of this
