Not fun - on any day of the week. Sorry to hear that. I know a good PI if you need one.

Thanks Pam, the state police where here yesterday and I guess they spent quite a while here so we will see where it leads. I am certain that it was someone that knows the building well because of how it was done and no mess being made it was just to neat and thought out. The last time this happened the cash drawer was found out back beaten open and the store was a mess.

If you are like my wife and I you couldnt live with out her that long. I am tempted how ever to come back with a lawn chair, my little friend, and some munchies and wait tonight to see if those AC's come back again.

You're right - I would miss her terribly. I'll send extra guns instead.
Sounds like a snipe hunt in the making!

Back when I lived in Abilene, Tx, a partner and I owned 3 selfserve carwashes. An enterprising young airman discovered that the copier at Dyess AF Base could be used to copy $5 bills that would get change at our car wash. I waited inside the pump room, had a cot and a baseball bat. About 1:30 in the morning, along comes a bogus bill. I hit the door yelling with my bat in my hand. He made it to the car and got away, but I got his license number and car description. It was a 1972 Mustang, gold color, by the way. We never had any more bogus money hit our changers.

I think your right guns would be better and I think it would be a snipe hunt.

There is more to the story. My partner owned a retail store, and about 2 or 3 months after the incident, I was in his store talking to him. We had been watching for the Mustang and low and behold, it pulled up in front of his store. I called Ron's attention to it. The guy comes into the store, there are other customers around. I say "Hey Ron, did you ever hear back from that officer out at Dyess concerning the counterfiet?" Ron, sid'No not yet, I need to call him back". The guy quickly turned around, got in the Mustang and drove off. We never saw it again. He got to us for about $100, but we had $100 of fun out of it.
