Do you like any place in Longview better than Pasado"s. Didn't you say that place on 80 is good?

 

Pasado's is very good, and yes, Tele's (on 80) is very good. There's a dive out in South Longview called El Rincon that is also excellent. You just have to be very careful what time of day you go out there.

They were nowhere to be found for the grand finale. It was a very bad ending.

 

South Longview is my old stomping grounds, where I grew up. I'll straighten'em out!

I knew it was something like that. All I could think of was Jefe's and knew that was not right. What about The Jalapeno Tree? May be in Longview next weekend.

Jalapeno Tree is OK, but not for cheese enchiladas. They use the fake liquid cheese, not real cheese - so I don't go there often. If you like fajitas, they do have excellent fajitas with spicy hot butter.

 

I think I just gained 10 pounds. I'm going to go and find a cubby hole and take a nap now.

 

It will be evening most likely, so bring G. Not sure who all will be there.

 

Sounds like fun! BTW - Jalapeno Tree has pretty darn good frozen margaritas, too.

Well the Boss (a.k.a Dad) just told me that I have to cancel all travel plans for the winter which means no Texas or Florida next year. If I am not an alcoholic by the time this GD recession ends it will be a miracle. I also understand completely why this has to happen but it still sucks.
