Will the canned paint interfere with the body shop in any way?

The reason I ask is because the canned enamal would react with the laquer we used to use. Does it react with the base and clear coat?

my original patman grill was spray painted, then painted through a body shop. My painter bitched about it, but it ended up just fine.

When we used laquer, it would react with the canned enamal. I don't know if base/clear does or not. The grille will certainly look better with something on it, until she gets the paint work done.

Yes, please do. My painter said he could work with it that way (whenever he manages to get around to it, that is).
