My hubby took me out to dinner at our local Chinese restaurant (they have great food!) and got me this:

and this:

The lighted hitch cover is pretty self explanatory. The box is what's known as Rain Chimes. I've wanted one for a long time. The box is full of tiny metal beads and has 5-6 chimes in the bottom and a sticky two-sided tape on the lid. When you flip it over the beads stick to the tape and then when you set it upright again they begin to fall randomly onto the chimes. I flipped it over about 3 hours ago and beads are still falling!

They are really cool. My sister has one and I've been wanting one ever since I saw it. Going on 4 hours and still have falling beads! The ad says 15-35 minutes!!

happy bday rose! What a perfect day for it to flood. I can't make it out of my development because the creek is flooding so bad. No way I can make it to class what a bummer

Just barely made it to work! It is raining so hard you can not see and it is dark as night. Hope we got some of this out South of town.
