Planning on moving back to East Texas someday. May go to work as an investigator at Pam's law firm. Not sure the office could handle 2 slackers though. LOL

What's getting to me is the hundred mile a day commute. My daughter is an insurance agent close to where I live now and I may go to work for her. I was thinking 20 to 30 hrs a week also. I'll be 62 next month.

Turned out my dad had very small blood vessels that ruptured in his eye that caused the floaters. Old people problems is all it is, nothing serious. He can have laser eye surgery to fix it.

you're just a kid! I lost my job about a year and a half ago, due to a buyout. I was retired 3 weeks. Found another job, I can't not have a place to go.

I've been getting a retirement check from Chevron monthly since I was 55 even though I worked for Texaco for 17 yrs. The company I'm with now I've been there almost 21 yrs. Two companies 38 yrs plus I worked at 2 other places for a total of 2yrs. I'm going to take a week off the first week of Nov. and check out my options.

That's a long commute PawPaw... I'm not saying your old, but that would be tough for someone even younger. A lot of miles on your truck and gas expense as well

Construction is under way on the new office building - should be ready by late Spring. Come on over - I'll have a place ready for you.
