And let you miss out on all the fun - no way! After you get it, you can send it on up north to Dave.

I like it cold in the office, but I'm freezing. We have a long, long hallway and the thermostat is down the hall. Someone keeps turning it down to 68 and I keep turning it up to 72. My clothes are still wet from the rain. I think I will make me a sign. "Adjust at your own risk."

You need to assert your authority and buy a lock box for the thermostat, set it at 72, lock it and put the key away. Problem solved.

No, I like the sign idea. "If you touch this thermostat, an East Texas Hit Woman Will Pay You a Visit"

You will be handled as a "Consultant". We have several "consulting" Engineers. So you will be a special Engineer.

That reminds me, has M. started on my office yet?

I like the way that sounds!

M met with the architect on Friday before he left the country for another 2 week vacation. Demolition is now complete and construction will begin when the architect finalizes the layout blue prints. I told him I wanted your office across the hall from me so that I could keep an eye on you - being the slacker that you are.
