She has a tough choice each day. Whether she is going to be the wild East Texas Cowgirl and drive the truck, or whether she is going to be the East Texas hottie in the Mustang convertable.

I liked the big ones till I had the small ones. About the diameter of a silver dollar, maybe slightly bigger, about 1/2 inch thick, lots of cinnamon and dipped fried like a donut and dipped in donut glaze. Damn! Been too long!

ready to go home, i really need to tear apart my front end and see where this clicking noise is coming from, hopefully not a wheel bearing on its way out. Also have a clicking in my lower drivers dash. Too much to do, too little time

Hey Pat. You can email me that refer to section 501-01 instrument panel removal. Looks like I'm going to need it. Is that the one you was talking about?

You can. you just have to get into it. My Dad was a mechanic when I was growing up. Had a limited education, 5th grade. I was embarrassed at what he did for a living and refused to go help him at the shop. I decided I wanted to work in an office. This was when I was 10 to 17 years old. After I left home, Dad started his on parts store and became quite a financial success. Somewhere about my 18th year, he really got some smarts. Later in life, I needed a hobby and bought a 1954 Ford pickup. I started doing body work, building engines, restoring Mustangs and even bought a wrecking yard so I would have a play pen. My point is, I knew nothing until I jumped in and tore my first 289 down and rebuilt it. If you want to, just get after it.

See that is what I want to do. The problem is I can't while I am living here. Their roof, their rules. Like I want to get some new XLT handles and paint them myself... but take my time and do it right this time. I would have to take apart the door so I can't do that here. It's frustrating but I think I'll end up doing what you did after college. I want to build a mustang gt up to be a sleeper, so maybe that will be my start in a few years. I really wish I was closer to you guys because for some projects it would be nice to have the availability of guidance. More complicated things could get done that require more knowledge than I have currently.
