I love working on mine, well maintenance and mods. Replacing the oil pan gasket wasnt exactly something I would say I enjoyed . Part I hate is trying to find time to actually do it, and hope the weather cooperates.

Oh I couldnt have been happier when that was done, as much as doing it sucked it was better than losing a quart every day. Now I have to work 11 hours the next two days and I have to find time to sneak outta here and get my new distributor and then get it installed before I leave Wednesday

Best I could on a days notice. Been having some major issues with the MPG on the truck so I pulled the codes and got one saying the PIP/hall effect sensor or whatever the hell its really called is going bad.
Since Im gonna be driving 200 miles each way in the boonies plus all the other driving around on my vacation I figured I should probably replace it. Went in to try the parts store on Saturday, and of course none in stock so they are gonna order one from the depot tomorrow morning so I should be able to get it after lunch. I get off at 8 so I gotta jet home and pull the old one, install the new one, clean the temp sensor while I can get at it, and install then set the timing
