I know tell me about it but it will be snow in a few weeks so I am not going to complain about it to much because we don't have to shovel it. That sucks to hear about the blast furnace I hope no one was hurt. I remember when the inductor blew on Grede's furnace and blew a hole in the bottom when it was full of molten iron.

yea your right, it snowed here 2 weeks ago i think and of course i didnt have the brush in the trruck when i got off shift that morning.
ive got a picture of that furnace i think in my email. My work was thinking about buying that place but the furance was in need of alot of cash.
no one was hurt here but it melted the command room and caused quite a bit of damage

I am glad to hear that no one was hurt when it blew. Your company was looking at buying Grede here in Iron Mountain?? I know there a couple companies looking at them right now and I hope something happens soon and they keep the place running they employ quite a few people here in the area.

No that's not the on here but that might be one of their bigger foundries. The one here in town is a pretty small facility that does various castings for the big three.

ahh we were shown that last year, they said it was in michigan but i didnt know where abouts
