Oddly enough, I have to disagree Blue. I know I have the ability to be very good(the real word came into play and cant practice), but I still dont feel satisfied with what I have achieved through the game. Guess I'm just different.

True dat Grasshoppa!

What I am saying is, if you start out a high handicap ( I was an 18). Take the game somewhat seriously, and work at getting better. As you see your handicap drop, and you start hitting shots, scoring, you feel a lot of satisfaction from what you acheieved, but it's never enough. You are always copeting with yourself to get better. When I quit playing so much, I was down to a 10 handicap and I was trying hard for single digits. It is just an awesome game.

I agree with that, I love it. I just can only play on ce a week during the summer due to work and school. I just had natural ability I guess and started out at about 11 or 12 handicap, just never pursued it. I don't have the mental ability with everything else I have going on.

You started young and that is a big factor. I was 48 when I started playing. Yes, the mental game is half the game. You can be gifted with the physical side of the game and if you don't have concentration and are not able to control your mental game, you will be limited to what you can achieve.

I find the game(or techinque) of the swing to not be very difficult, I just can't tell my mind to do it every single swing. I get too amped up after a few good holes. Oh well.

Will see how well I can do on one of the best courses in LA tomorrow though. I'll report back with the score for your amusement

Going to go out to the yard and watch a new snubbing unit tested. No, Jditta, it's not an automatic circumcisor!
