She is a new Grandma and has been busy serving in that capacity. I bet we hear from her sometime today.

Morning fellas! Back at work today. Got called to the hospital at 4:00 a.m. yesterday morning. My new grandson was born at 10:18. He is so precious! 5 lbs. 14 oz., 20 inches long. His name is Derek. My son was down in McAllen for work, so I spent the day at the hospital with momma and baby. Both are doing very well.

Yes it is. One of the great memories I have with my son was going to a football game between the 2 Abilene high schools, played in a heavy snowfall. We froze, but had fun.

Thanks! As soon as I figure out a way to get the pics off my cell phone, I'll get some posted. I have the cable and installation CD, but the program keeps saying it doesn't recognize my phone. I hate technology sometimes!

I was not quite with it at 4:00 a.m. yesterday and I ran out of the house and left the real camera. (I also forget to put my glasses on - since I normally wear contacts - but figured that pretty quickly once I got down the driveway.) Go figure! Needless to say, I have the real camera in my purse now and will get some pics this evening too.

I want some snow too! Even if it doesn't stick - it's still pretty to watch.

Yeap. My senior year, we had to play in the snow.
