Just learned that an old high school buddy died this week. He was a wild one! Still don't know how we survived some of the stuff we did. Unless he changed, odds are pretty good that he died from alcolhol related problems.

Very sorry to hear that Jim.


Got to go to Longview in a few minutes. I am having some upholstery repair done on my front seats. I have to take the truck over so the guy can make sure he orders the right color, etc. My actual repair appt. is for next Wednesday.

Yep, Mike and I used to tear up the lake roads out around where you live. Of course, this was in 1957, 1958 in his grandmothers 1955 Pontiac. He was some driver! I met im in the 8th grade, he had a Cushman Eagle that he rode to school. We would go to his grandmother's for lunch and get into her homemade blackberry wine. This was in the 8th and 9th grades.
