Morning fellas. I meant to post earlier but I got ambushed with work the moment I stepped through the front door this morning. I'll be glad when we get through this wave of trial settings that somehow got all bunched together.

I know that sweetie. Red isn't going anywhere.

Pics on the way - as soon as my boss leaves me alone for 5 minutes.

Everyone meet Scully. He is 1 1/2 yr. old greyhound/anatolian shepherd mix. He is a rescue from a shelter that was going to euthanize him. We adopted him this weekend. We met him on Saturday and then talked about it and decided to go back on Sunday and get him. He is a distemper survivor -which is probably why he was initially abandoned. He was already housebroken and microchipped, and knows basic commands. He is 3 or 4 inches taller than Dolly already, and has a little more growing to do. He needs to put some weight on, but other than that is a very healthy, affectionate little boy who loves to play fetch and is trying really hard to get his new sister to like him.

Nope - but he would make a good one! Actually, he was already named and his name is registered with the microchip - so we are not going to change it.

Randall - I know it's a big let down for you - but Jim is the one who set you up for it. Remember - I did not even mention it - he did.

Morning Pam. That is a beautiful dog and I am sure Dolly and Scully will be best buds in a few weeks.

Morning Dave! Thank you. I'm sure they will too. She likes going outside and playing chase with him, but she doesn't want him "catching" her. If he so much as touches her, he gets the snarls and growls. I guess she wants to be friends from a distance for now.

What you mean it's a let down for me????

I kind of like how both of the dogs names are. Dolly and Scully.

Well, like John, I kinda thought you were expecting something a little "more". Y'all kind of fell into Jim's trickery.

Let down! How can there be a let down? I bet Scully doesn't feel a let down. Now Dolly may, she's going to have to share the attention.

He sure is cute, looks mischievious. Oh, and be careful with the fattening, he's half greyhound, they do not carry any fat.
