My dad has a sweet spot on the infield at Talladega, right up against the fence in turn 3 but I'm gonna miss it this year being in CA. This will be the first spring race I've missed in about 10 years. But there's always the fall race, and it's only 2 hours from home.

I'm also going to the Phoenix race in April. Now that race will be sweet.

I will, but not nearly as much as Talladega. It's nice to get there on Thursday and not leave till Monday.

Man I have too! It's been 25 years since I was in CA last, I'm sure it'll be at least that before I get back again.

It's been 30 years since I've been to CA - but I'm not in any hurry to go back. I thought there were strange people in E. Texas - but some of those people in CA are from another planet.

There are strange people in East Texas. I've seen most of them I believe.

I haven't meet any really wierd people here, they just drive way to slow for me. Most people here drive 5-10 under the limit here. It's wierd passing cars on the 5 doing 65 mph.

The infield at Daga is like a woodstock party. And it never stops until everyone leaves. I love going to those races. John needs to go there.

What? This will be post number 38,140, not 10,000.
Plus you have to count the other thread that got closed.

Man, I don't know that he can handle 'Dega. He'd get eaten for lunch.

He needs to start at a more civilized venue, like Texas.

That's the best idea I've heard yet for this poor boy's lady problems. Leave them yankee women alone and go get ya one of those "Northeast Texas Women".
