I too have this issue and it drives me nuts. Its good to know that the keyway can be removed if I understand this correctly. By doing so will my wiper slip?

No slippage. There are about 25 to 30 splines. The keyway is simply a guide to put it on quickly, in the same spot. The thing about it, if you look, the drivers side is lower than the passenger when at rest. Why they did that I have no idea.

Now Stealth has said that all he had to do was switch the wipers. I don't know if that will work on all or not. I just reindexed the one. Read about it on here.

If I have to close it, I know some "in befroe the lock" posts that will get deleted. LOL

Ok but I think our in before the lock posts are safe cause your not looking for those.
