It was hot here today. Then it rained like hell for about 3 minutes. Now we have a sauna.

It has been in storage since 1990. Everything pretty well needs to be repainted. The engine needs a rebuild. Nitrous got the heads. The interior is still pretty nice, if you like velour.

Dark Burgandy. Has a HiPo 351 Cleveland with the 4V heads, Crane cam, 800 double pumper, 4.88 gears. In it now is a small block C-6 that I dislike. I would want to rebuild my C-4 and put that back in. I ran a 150 hp Nitrous Power Shot. My best time with it was 12.96, 102 MPH at Little River Raceway which is now known as Academy Raceway. Obviously, traction was my biggest problem.

Yep, but the big block would be so heavy. My buddy that helped me at the track when we went racing had a 51 with a 429 and I would take him every time. It is unbelieveable what the 351C could do with the 4V heads. Those heads are the same as the Boss 302 heads, just different water channels. HUGE valves and ports. I had in my shop, a 428CJ, a 429CJ and a 460, and I installed the 351C. Now, the 56 I was building had a 460.

One of the big factors in choosing the 351C is that it used the same motor mounts as a 289 and my truck had been fit with a 289 when I bought it. So, it was a direct swap. Also, keep in mind the 351C was good enough for the Pantera!

Yankees win again against the Rays!!! Bottom of the 10th, score 2-1! That makes 4 in a row for the Yanks!

I had the most fun in it against the big block Chevys. It tore the guys up to know a 351 Ford could stay with their 454s. Another one that I had a lot of fun with was a guy that had an 86 T-Type Buick. That thing would leap off the line, but run out of power on the top end. I would always pass him about 3/4 down the track. He was not stock either.
