Here are a couple of pics from camping two weeks ago:

What were you trying to do there? Catch a rabbit?

No, I could tell by the way CrAz3d was reacing out there, he was leary, but not scared chitless. Couldn't be anything much more than a small bunny.

Probably a Gila Monster
More like an anole or a horned toad.

Yes sir, shaping up nicely. Had some wicked awesome things fall into place and some other things come to fruition in the personal side of Budha's life last evening.

I'm surprised none of the Yota haters have started a thread about the San Antonio Toyota plant shutting down for about 3 months.

Local story

My school is going to hell in a hand basket:
http://www.lcsun-news.com/news/ci_9834035

That college is so fuked up. Two profs didn't have their contracts renewed, the dept. head stepped down for mishandling it, the dean stepped down for sending **** emails on his university account and now this kid is claiming crazy ****.

I don't even know why the college exists at the university, these people become social workers ... isn't that pretty much just an associates degree kinda thing?

Recently, our "here forever" president (he came in 2005 when I got here) left to become chancellor at LSU. Our even-more-recently appointed interim president stepped down for reasons I can't recall.

I can't wait to get out of this stupid university. Hell, UNM in ABQ would be better than this I think.
You're just looking for an excuse to go to ABQ.

Don't get me wrong, woman is nice, UNM is decent, but ABQ still sucks. Also, my aspirations still lie with Baylor Law! (Visiting in two weeks!)

Think you'll be around Dallas and care to meet up? I plan to have a nifty Dallas meet if y'all are willing, then the same down in Austin.
I think my truck will be MIA, though. No reason to use twice the gas in that beast when my friend offered to drive his 03? Accord. Not to mention all the maintenance I should do first (tires, tranny fluid, diff, etc.)
Just depends on what is happening at the time. Will try to.
