OK guys, I trust you slackers more than the others on the site, I need your opinion.

I've guaranteed myself to have some extra money by the beginning of or mid June by working a lot of OT.

What should i do first???...

Start to finish off the exterior of my truck by getting my hood painted and my Street Scene mirrors painted and install both...

OR....

Start with some performance upgrades ie OBX longtubes (and pay Patrick to install them )...

I also need to get the HD 22" wheels after Randall buys my 22's. If he'd quit having bad luck he'd already have them.

I'd do the exterior stuff. You've had that stuff awhile now, get it done. If you go the performance route the look-good mods will be sitting even longer.

You need the wheels first though. Nothing like seeing a modded out truck riding on stockers.

Yeah, I just hate buying new wheels when I still have my old wheels. Tough decisions.

Although if you find a deal on some go fast parts don't pass them by.

Well I can get the headers for a bit over $600 and they come with everything needed for install, and high flow cats.

One reason I say headers is I think I have a small manifold leak, and I can't see taking the stock exhaust manifolds off just to put them back on. When the air/heat is on recycle when I'm at a stop I can smell exhaust, otherwise I smell nothing at all.

Idunno, maybe the cowl induction hood aids in that smell as well...

Yeah, I wouldn't do all that work for manifolds. Sounds like you have a small leak somewhere, but go with the manfold excuse if it sounds good.

On the way home from the mall I passed a Tundra with purple headlights.

Yeah if I do headers my exhaust will be super loud. I may have to add a Dynomax bullet muffler in there somewhere (have one lying around in the garage) since my ROR muffler is only 10" long.

finish the appearance first, even if you put the wheels back on. Finish what you started.

PM replied will

I say paint your stuff you already have before you do anything. Then headers, and wait until you sell the 22s before you buy the ones you want
