Finally home from AL. It was a scary drive back home on I-12 today. It was raining so hard, I got down to 40 mph and a huge wreck happened right in front of me. Thanks to my quick thinking, we just barely made it through. About 6 to 8 cars involved. Left a 9am and got home at 6:37. I need a beer.

You left a few days early. I'm listening to Jimmy Buffett do an impromptu show at Lulu's right now on Radio Margaritaville.

Glad you made it home with your Mario Andretti like reflexes.

Bought a Panasonic 50" 1080P Plasma tv today. Not a bad deal for $999. Bought a stand as well. Now I need a true surround speaker system. I have a good Denon AV receiver, just need a 6.1 speaker setup instead of the old school speaker surround system I have going on.

Still kind of bummed about my health situation. I did all the work setting up the tv and by myself, now I'm bushed. Plus our dachshund Jager ate my son's dinner. Hopefully we won't have a mess to clean up later. :o

On the good side, I will have about a grand to spend on truck parts painting.
