there are a ton of different bulbs but basically 3 different styles. As long as it fits in the socket you should be okay.

Take a look tho at both sides b.c i bet the new one is just a tad higher wattage, so might be a little brighter

I think it is a little brighter, so was going to get another new one for the other side.

I would buy 2 new replacements of the same 3157 or whatever came stock.

put a new one in each side, and then keep the working old stock one in the glove box incase one fails while you are on a road trip :o

Good plan, except I wouldn't have a wrench with me.

well you should carry a small ammount of tools with you. You know just because the Ford is that reliable doesnt mean you wont need to fix a few toyotas or chevys along the way

Zach, the only rules they tell me are dont get pulled over, dont break it, dont wreck it

Metal place has tons of rules... Mainly the office manager just being the over protective controlling person that she is.
Pipe place that we just bought has, oh, a few less rules. The 1995 F-350 I drove today had no mirrors on it, radio didn't work, and no A/C. The 2001 F-350 doesn't have working mirrors. Their 2007 Dodge 6.7 is fine, so far. 11.5 MPG on a diesel (the 6.7) is unacceptable though. Stupid EPA...

Whoa! You should get a big fat bonus out of that!

Yes. I normally don't let it get lower than 1/4.
