Long day of getting blasted with wind, lets just say I wasn't white anymore after moving lots of dirt around. Then had to fight a 25-30mph head wind on the way home, got whopping 9mpg, but I was running hard tho, tranny temps never broke 170 degrees either.

Good morning, had a long but productive weekend in waco. Back into the grind at work, gotta catch up on a ton of stuff at the apt. Never get a minute to rest anymore.

Pretty tired this morning. Had 5 fire engines show up at one of my neighbors last night at 11. They were there until wee hours in the morning. No known injuries, but I am pretty sure everyone got out ok. Sure feel bad for them. Fire is such a horrifying thing when it comes to houses.

Everyone go check your smoke detectors.

Ok I have to know what it is now. I was thinking it had a 12" lift with 44's on it but we all now they arent capable of handling that.

Nothing like that!

2009 gmc 2500hd 6.0L 4.10 gears 4x4.......
Truck has been modified with a service utility box with ladder rack on top, along with 1 ton springs.
She weighs in at approximately 10K.......
Parts and tools make up most of the weight.

Just a big brick going down the highway.

This ones a dog compared to the 2003 2500hd 6.0 2wd I had.
The 09 drinks fuel bad the 03 consistently got 10-12mpgs, this one is all over the place 8-13 and the 6 speed likes to shift a lot.
Put her in tow mode and she'll pull what she's asked to.

My BIL had a 03 6.0 Chev 2500 4x4 with a BOSS plow hung off the front and he said it was the biggest POS he had ever driven. But he traded it for an 08 Duramax and tore the front diff up plowing snow.
