ian i didnt realize that your truck was an FX4, i thought it was a 2 wheel XLT

Yep. FX4.

My '05 was an XLT 4x4.

That may be true, but I'd also be a bit worried about the "ghosting" if I removed them.

The Cj was decent for a 79. Factory 304 & 3 speed. Made him an offer of $2400 and let me sleep on it. Needs some wiper motors and a top, but overall decent shape.

It's got a solid frame, some body rot and bondo but that's expected, it's darty - that'll have to get fixed pretty quick, needs wipers to be street legal, new lights all around - LED's in back, a roll bar from a TJ - I'd weld it to the frame I think, needs the gas gauge hooked up, new wheels & tires.
