I'm just running my first tank of 87 perf. I've been running 93 since I got my custom back in May/June. I think I'll just stick with 87, not that much of a difference. Well, maybe in MPG's. I can actually keep from burying my foot every chance I get.

My 93 is slightly more performance, but not worth the difference in cost of 87.

Yeah, I just wanted to see what the difference was. Not much so I'll probably stick with 87.

I run 87 Shell in all my vehicles. Runs great and picked up a tad on the MPG also.

There is no benefit to run mid grade unless you have a tune for it. I have an 87 and a 93 tune.

Thats all I run is Shell mid grade. I'm getting around 19.3 to 20.4 mpg at the moment.

I tried to get my loaded trailer out tonight. It rained this moning and the grass was still a little wet. I got my truck manuvered down to hook up, but saw it was not going to work. So when I tried to drive out up the grassy hill, would not go. My neighbor came over with his 4 wheeler and pulled up up the hill. Then, he got his 7.3 Super Duty 4x4 and pulled my trailer up and out. I get to go to the mulch dump tomorrow.

Dang 2wd's and their street tires.

BTW, the Easton Corbin show was great. Sounded great and he could pull off some Keith Whitley with ease. He did a few Whitley songs tonight, along with some Merle, Don Williams and a few others.

I need to watch for the guy. Never heard of him. Always liked Whitley and Don Williams is one of my favorites.

I just seldom have a need for 4x4. We have ice only 3 or 4 times each winter. Just not worth the extra cost.
