Found out last night, that I didn't get the job position that I was suppose to get. The company never ended up hiring a singe soul. The weekend just plain sucks right now. Gonna go buy a twelve pack.

Went fishing with the boy for bluegill at a local pond today. Used night crawlers under a bobber. Also caught some grasshoppers and used them, they were everywhere. Had a good time.

My son Austin with some bluegill, or is it a smallmouth bass.

I caught a very small largemouth bass too on a night crawler. Only in Texas.

Caught three very large bluegill, as large as my hand. That's always fun on ultralight gear.

You know that's the fish I was comparing mine too, but mine was smaller!

I was amazed at some of the huge bluegill in that new-ish pond. They were as big as my extended hand and as thick. The pond is next to a very established creek that feeds all the way up to Lake Arlington from Burleson. The creek has flooded into the pond before, and I bet that's where some of those fish came from.

Yanked off that recon line of fire today. It had some sort of short in it, not to mention it looked stupid. Good thing I got it cheap.
