The flip should be easy. Been reading up on it. The main reason I want to do it is because the eibach leafs are so harsh. It never ends, does it.

Yep, we changed plans and went to Smoky's BBQ. Awesome. Sliced brisket, sausage, pinto beans, potato salad and pickles. Lots of BBQ sauce.

Eh... Not a huge fan of brisket really. It's hard to get right, and I've had too much that wasn't good, so I just avoid it now.

I love it when it has the fat trimmed off and you cut it with a fork. This is Texas style sliced beef.

well we could do the flip and the trans flush at the same time
(only costs about 45 bucks in fluid and 10ish for a new filter)

so will you have issues with the relocated carrier bearing support we did and the flip kit?

My first thought is that you will be fine but idk for sure.

From DJM website: This kit is designed for vehicles with one piece drive shaft. Some F150's have two piece drive shafts with a carrier bearing. Raising the carrier bearing is required or drive line vibration will occur. It'll be fine.

I've never done the fluid before on any vehicle of mine, except for manual tranny fluid in my Probe.

Not too bad for the full flush. About 14 quarts included.

That's way cheaper than just a new 4" rear flip kit. I may have to do it.

Stealth, I know you were up the island a ways, but if I were you, I would be glad I got my vacation in and back home! I'm sure there are some big waves from Dolly.

I know. We sure lucked out!!! Waiting out a hurricane in a condo doesn't seem fun, even if the hurricane was far south. We were gulf side of Corpus Christi.

Try being in Glaveston on the Bolivar Peninsula during one of those, while on vacation. It's fun!
