I know that. Ya'll have a dry cold while we have a damp cold. It's colder here with a damp cold.

I hate damp cold and you are right it cuts through every layer of clothing you have on. Since the temp has dropped in to the low 30's at night now the 15w-40 oil in the truck does not like flow all that well in the morning now.

Why not use a thinner weight of oil?????
The last 2 nights have been in the lower 30's here also. Good hunting weather.

That's what I put in the truck the last oil change in July when it was 80*+ and I have 3500 more miles before the next oil change. I am really hoping the weather changes drasticly for next weeked so it's cold for opening day.

Dang!!! I thought 35 was high. That's why I do mine and the wife's as well.
