Anybody know anything about Emachine laptop computers. My son wants one for Christmas.

I dont know much about them, but I cant imagine they would be much good for anything more than web surfing.

They came out years ago as the first PC clones. They were much cheaper that IBM and caught on pretty quickly. Since they are still in business, I would not hesitate to go with one.

That's pretty much what he will be using it for. No games, just web searching and doing his homework on it.

Being it's going to be for him, I'm going to one for him.

Economically affordable for what you get compared to the more expensive brands......my old one worked fine for surfing and documents never tried any other apps on it. I use a MAC book for that stuff.

Who will you guys be pulling for tomorrow night during the football game. Saints or the Cowboys. I'll be pulling for my boys the Saints.
