Yeah, my 4wd (Corona truck) has close to $2k in it and the 2wd (Crown truck) has a little over $600 in it. They're full on competition trucks and only see run time on racetracks.

Both of these are electric and I run them with brushless motors along with lithium polymer batteries. I gave up nitro many years back when I got out of RC drag racing. Had a nitro funny car and pro-stock car.

The Crown body was the most complex body I've ever painted (2nd time ever using an airbrush). Everything on the body is paint - minus the grille/headlights and the 2 fans on the rear deck.
