Smile Remote Starting

Is their a switch I need to flip or do I need it to go back to the dealer?

YES!!! 7 weeks I bought the truck from a Chevorlet dealership, that currently owns 5 Ford dealerships...and GM wasn`t going to replace it but piece it together. But the dealership came on my side and to protect their good name, fought them and I won. So...I`m very happy with the results, but I need my remote starter here in snow country....

If the guage cluster flashes 3 times (I think thats how many) its the key coffin is dead or unhooked and the truck isnt sensing a key to start or it could be the hood button is not engaging

Should be a censor on the tranny to let the system know it's in park. might not be hooked up. That's what I'm thinking.

Actually just thought of it. If the tranny was replaced they may have flashed the ecm so it wouldve forgot the key. If you still have the 2 original keys for the truck, put one into the ignition turn to run (not start but run postion) turn off and remove, Do the same with the second key then press your remote start button. This will program the key in the coffin

If that doesn`t work I will give them ( the dealership) a call, to narrow it down...
