Remote Starting
I have a 2005 F150 FX4 with a stock remote starter, ( on keys) Recently, I had purchased this truck , drove it for 8 days and the tranny went on her at 51K . The dealer replaced the transmission with a new one, and 7 weeks later, I got it back. The remote starter was working before it went in, but now when I press the remote, the instrument cluster blinks, and it seems to be going thru the motions to start, but it does not turn over. Is their a switch I need to flip or do I need it to go back to the dealer?
Thank you...

Remote Starter
YES!!! 7 weeks I bought the truck from a Chevorlet dealership, that currently owns 5 Ford dealerships...and GM wasn`t going to replace it but piece it together. But the dealership came on my side and to protect their good name, fought them and I won. So...I`m very happy with the results, but I need my remote starter here in snow country....

Actually just thought of it. If the tranny was replaced they may have flashed the ecm so it wouldve forgot the key. If you still have the 2 original keys for the truck, put one into the ignition turn to run (not start but run postion) turn off and remove, Do the same with the second key then press your remote start button. This will program the key in the coffin
