Did a weekend hunt in Uvalde, TX this weekend. A 2nd cousin of mine is one of the "smaller" guides for Turkey Creek Ranch, and we had the opportunity to do some population control Saturday. Need to shoot about 20 doe, and got 13. Still pretty awesome. Picture from one of the stands below...
^^^Why I love being from Texas, and a country boy. Not many people see it this open.
But even better, every truck that we had in camp was a Ford.
Two 2008 6.4 PSDs, a 2006 6.0 PSD, and then my little tinker. Pics below (didn't get a picture of the 6.0 because it was on deer runs a lot.

Well after dinner, or is it supper, I washed the truck, two bucket method. Found out I love microfiber drying towels. It was getting late so I had to work fast.
I picked a spot on the lid and started claying that area. Then I taped off an 18" or so square. It was getting close to dark but I pressed on. Got my pc7424xp and put some M105 on an uber green pad and did two sets of six passes and wiped. Then M205 and an uber blue pad and did one set of six passes then wiped. I was putting medium pressure on the 5 setting. Then took the NXT on the uber black pad with no pressure and did one set of six passes and let it dry, then wiped. It looks noticeably different and I can't believe how easy it was. I still have some scratches and swirls so I need to pick up some s/x since mine was all separated.
Sure is gratifying to make the truck look good, even if it is just a good looking 18" square right now.
