Going over to my BIL's tonight. I will be cooking burgers and smoked sausage(Earl Campbell Mild). He has an old homemade iron grill that is about 50 years old. It's an excellent smoker. He will put the oak logs on about an hour before I get there, so when I get the meat ready, it will be down to good coals. Sure is some fine eating!

Left work at lunch. Our part of the department I'm in is moving north, about 3,000 feet north, to join the rest of our department (Forward fuselage F35) on Monday. I finished my bulkhead yesterday so I came in to work planning on working on a longeron I was told to start after I finished my bulkhead. Well this morning my supervisor said they need me in forward up north, so I had to gather my junk and head up there on foot. If they would have told me yesterday that I was going up there today I would have parked up there, instead I was parked a mile or more from where I was working. Screw that. Heck most of the guys I used to work with up there were asking me why I was there about every ten feet I walked, not like I got anything accomplished anyway. So I scoped out different parking lots and such after I left. Found a good lot on the west side of the plant. Get to drive in to work an entirely different way, and less traffic to fight with. Plus there is a windy road I get to drive around the lake to get to and from the highway.
To give you an idea how far I was parked from where I was working, it took me 15 minutes to get from the timeclock to my truck. Not that I don't need to do a bit more walking. :o

Wow that's crazy Will... that has got to be one massive plant :o
Sounds good Jim! Have fun ; stinks about your shoes though
Going out to dinner with a friend I used to work with and his fiance. Another lady we worked with got sent home from work today so she won't be joining us as planned unfortunately

Also, I reloaded me custom 87 tune that Bill revised for me... holy crap power! Way way more than the 93 canned. It threw me into my seat. I was getting a weird surge on the 93 canned... I would accelerate and it would hang at 1200 rps then take off... it was weird. I filled up with 89 just to be safe and I think I will continue doing so. It runs way better. I did a few data-log sessions and will try for a few more. I don't have a wideband so I am not sure how good the Gryphon PIDs will be for Bill.
