I can't even count the number of dogs and cats I have held as they went to sleep. It never gets easier. Maggie is 8 1/2, she should live to 16 or so. I really can't imagine that day.

Was with my brother in law last night. He took all his cattle to the auction yesterday. All he has left is his donkey, a goat and some chickens and a dog. He is 80, recovering from pnemonia and facing a drought. He was going to have to lease pastures and move the cows several times to keep grass for them as his and our pastures would not support them without rain. He just does not have the energy and "want to" to do that anymore. He bought his first cattle in 1967, so it is really a change in his life and hard to take.

Thanks. He's such a big, strong guy, it's hard for him to slow down, mentally.

I actually get just as good at 75. I'm just over 2000 rpms at 75. One nice thing the higher speed will do is shut my wife up. She won't be warning me about tickets anymore.

The used semi market is great right now if yer selling a 5+ year old one with low miles in great shape....no one wants the new ones unless they have to....the emissions stuff is adding on to their delivery costs.....
