I had a friend in Abilene that was a Ford genius. He could make Fords really go. Had a 67 Shelby he bought in high school( this guy was poor, a hard worker, and worked for everything he had). He had all this 289 stuff sitting around in his shop. So, one day, he got the itch to build a car out of the miscellaneous parts. He baought a 65 Falcon Futura body for $150. I helped him sand it and prep it and he sprayed it Wimbledon White with orange Shelby stripes. He put a fiberglass hood and scoop on it. The engine was all different colors. The heads were different colors of blue, one valve cover was white and the other silver. he did not repaint anything, just left the pieces the color they were off the original engines. He did have a Liberty top loader 4 speed built for it. Had 5:65 gears. He would launch off the line at 7000 rpms and run an 11:00 flat. It was just awesome to see and hear that little 289 scream. He ran it 2 seasons and then sold it. It never came apart. The shifting in that video reminded me of him. He could shift that thing and make it sound like an automatic. Those were fun times. That is when I had my 54 truck running too.

Clear the under brush
Use repellent and block access to wear they can get to your skin.
For gnats+mosquitoes up hear I mix up "skin so soft" and water and spray the yard....1 cap to 1 gallon water.
Cutter might have some yard insect repellent available....

For Maggie something like frontline might work and for you anything with DEET......
I really hate to put anything like Frontline on an animal. I would rather find something to spray the yard. Preferably, something organic. May have to move if we can't get it under control and really don't want to do that. Picked 7 off her last night, then gave her a bath. They had not been on long, but have been finding one a day or so. The seven was a big increase.
