Thanks John. I really didn't have much to do with it. I helped him here and there and gave him some stuff I had laying around from my 79 F150. He's been working on it for 3 or 4 months now. I wish I would have gotten some before pics of it. It really came a LONG way since he got it.
I'd say about 85% of the truck is new. Replaced the motor with a re manned 400, ended up getting a different cab that was in a lot better shape, cut out and replaced every bad part in the dump bed, rebuilt everything in the rear axle (2wd), POR 15 the frame, sprayed Rust Free on every single panel, new bumper. Pretty much everything

Well I was right, it's pouring outside now with some strong winds.

That's sweet Matt! I love seeing stuff like that. To me a really well cared for stock vehicle is just as impressive as a modded newer vehicle in some cases. I've seen some crazy clean silverado's and f150's and even some camry's and I am in shock at how good they look. Some are 20 years old and look almost brand new

Once my Dad starts something, he makes sure it's done right. He painted everything himself too. He messed around with the doors for 3 days trying to get them PERFECT. They shut better now than my trucks doors do We put the hood on today and that was a couple of hours getting it lined up perfectly. This 30 year old truck is in better shape than his 07 is now
