How does this work?

The new neighbors called the cops on US tonight because my wife politely told their kids to stay OFF our yard....before the cops came the father verbally chewed my wif's but with explitives attached on our property....but the officer couldn't do anything about that....wtf?

From now on we're supposed to call the cops directly if their kids are on our yard....we're not even supposed to talk to the parents or kids at all.....that's screwed up....

I wanted to press charges then for trespassing but I was denied....kids are under the age of 9 and can't.....really a screwed up town I live in....

 

That doesn't make any sense at all. It's YOUR property, you can tell them to get off if you want. Go play with your truck in their yard. When they tell you to get off call the cops on them.

 

I told my neighbor the same thing after her kids broke a window at my place...



she came onto my yard and tried to cuss me out, cops came and made me glad to be in Texas

 

I think some night I'm going to pull the baffles on the Harley-Davidson and proceed to do a driveway datalogging session and retune on the roller stand and I'll make sure one of pals is on my hip.....

There ain't nothing they can do about that....

Working on ones own vehicles on their own property doesn't fit the description of disturbing the peace.....
