Friend of mine posted this on FB:
"My dad was involved in an accident during his bike ride. He was struck by a car and was care flighted to Harris Methodist Down town. He is in surgery now. Broken left leg, 12" laceration above the knee, and cut the end of his middle finger off. He is strong and will pull through this, but it will be some time. Please keep him and the staff doing the surgery in your prayers."
He's an older guy, early 60's I assume. Very healthy and active man. Plays soccer still and rides his bike every day. Pray for Jesse Garcia.
