Still paying a little over $4 for 89 Shell. My last fill up was 17.05mpg's

Tornado watches about 30 miles north of here. It's not looking very good out.

We had that this morning but nothing came of it here. Hope the same for you.

My truck has increased mpg by about a full 1.0 mpg. Guess it is finally broken in at 127,000.

Thanks Jim, I'm praying it's just a warning.

My truck is getting a consistent 15.5-16.5mpg lately. Want to take it on a trip to Ashtabula and see what my highway mileage is now without winter blend. With winterblend I'd get 18-19, I'm not expecting any better than that, just curious.

My Edge which is fairly accurate shows 16mpg , which isn't bad for driving 12 miles a day now.

The Mustang gets a constant 21 mpg and I drive 54 miles round trip everyday to work. I probably would do better but I drive it like I stole it!

I only drive about 26 miles a day now. 13 miles to work then back. I'd say you're doing pretty good!

Highway I am estimating about 19-20/21. I'm taking a long trip in July to see my Grandpa up in Maine so I'll get a good idea then. I'm curious if the transmission service and rear dif fluid change will improve economy

I don't either... most of the time that is. Matt, Floor it. Seriously it is actually good for the engine. I do it about once a week. Merging onto the highway, ease into it then mash it to the floor. You gotta be hard on them once in a while. They run so much better. Other than that, I don't go much over 2200 myself

Yep that's exactly what I do to, hammer it once a week. Definitly don't mind doin either. But other than that I keep it below 2000.

I used to be afraid to, but I think it just helps keep the engine running better. And I love hearing my exhuast
