Well, for the recall, instead of having to leave the truck half a day, when I told him I did not need any other services, they got it done in about 30 minutes. Glad that is done. I asked if they had good luck doing the plugs on the 3v 5.4 and he said they had one right now that they were pulling the head. broken pieces in the cylinder. I asked what they charged for a plug change and he said they started at $550. I told him I thought I would stick with bankston where they did it with no problems for $325.
I considered telling him that, but he would not have listened. The ingnorance of some of the service writers really amazes me.
They include a car wash with an oil change for $32. I walked around a little and saw the wash bay. Had a robot washer with the hanging chamois strips. They were filthy. Don't think they will be washing my vehicle.

Talk about service writers....I've been calling the gm one we use for warranty work for the last 2 days with NO response.....the work trucks transfer case is on the fritz again....
