Yea, I can't believe it broke. I tried searching for anyone else that had broken one. EW Hatchets and Hammers have the same type handles, so that broadened my search some. Still, I couldn't find anyone that had broken one lol.

I'm going to glue it back together here in a little bit,- with about 90 AMP's.

How the heck did you break an Estwing hatchet???? I have Estwing framing hammers that I absolutely abuse the crap out of and I have never broken one.

No, I'm just kidding. I was messing with one of my friends and sent him that and he was flipping out. I got my Xrays back and just two little fractures + all my fingers . I just got that finger bent down and made it look like it.

Yeah it's definitely precision work that needs to be done by a reputable shop. Even if you don't have it done right away it is a good deal.
