Happy Birthday bud, hope it's a good one.

Gonna bite the bullet and get new brakes and rotors here pretty soon. I've needed them since I got the truck. The pads are OK but the rotors have some grooves in them, nothing serious but enough to give you a "jump" when braking. Going to get drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads.

You should know you can't start a project and finish without having another one by the time you're done with the original project.

Stay away from drilled, they have a tendency to crack.

In fact slotted wont do much for you as you drive like a grandpa.

I've been told that before.

I've heard the drilled rotors crack, haven't really given it much thought though. I'm probably going to do some more shopping. Don't really know what I want to be honest.

Well that went fast. I was looking on Rock Auto and ended up getting Rayasbestos front/rear rotors and Monroe Premium Ceramic pads front/rear.

You've probably bought the better ones though. Guess I shoulda said that. You get what you pay for especially with cheap/knockoff/Chinese brakes.
