Went fishing with my dad tonight. Had a good time, didn't catch anything though. I drove his truck back home and noticed some subtle changes to his 07 from my 04. Looks like I'm gonna have to trade mine in now

Been so busy with work and crap. I hate not getting on here each day.

My new amp showed up today and I bought a nice smoked led third brake light a few days ago. Also got a really nice Sony P&S that was on clearance at work today. Figured I would grab a few deals that I came across. I'm going to hold off until about 4 weeks to buy anything new for my system - I have to get the JL Cleansweep for 299 from Crutchfield, the sub box for 99 from Supercrewsound Boxes, the 10" IMage Dynamics sub off Amazon for $119 and then the speaker wire for the amp and a amp install kit and speaker install kit. Going to space it out over the course of July and August and then hopefully do the install at the end of August. Can't wait to hear what it's going to sound like

Too bad you all couldn't have our rain... we don't need it and it is going to rain from today up through Sunday. Off and on. Yay

 

Where'd you get your brake light at John? Did it come with a new gasket? Mine has a crack in it and after looking at my headliner the other day I noticed it has some water stains The floor's not wet though.

I got my brake pads today, still waiting for the rotors to show up.

I may look into a new gasket now that you mention it. Just to be safe. I'm going to seal this up as well for extra piece of mind.

Just did a search... can't get just a gasket, you need to by the entire oem assembly. I might be able to make one

 

I was just looking at that on Ebay about 5 minutes ago

I'll just go find an 07 or 08 at the dealership with the updated gaskets. Won't need the whole third light assembly then

 

You'll just need another job!

 

I'm probably going to do the OEM Harley tails in the fall so it will match nicely then

That'd look good with your truck. Doing them yourself is really easy, just time consuming.

That actually doesn't look half bad.

I saw your post in that other thread, the guy looking for flareside LED tails.

If I could find LED tails and 3rd light that look like stock, or close to it, I'd be all over them.

 

I hear ya.....

Some of that stuff I find while searching is pure astetic garbage.....looks that make you want to puke and who knows if its even functional.....
