Holly helly is it hot outside!!! Taking a break from the truck for a little bit, got the NXT, and Wet Obsession done now all I have to do is the glass and interior. It's not perfect but it is acceptable for now until I can clay it and do some major correction work on the paint.

Washed the truck, ran some errands and stopped and drove a 5.0, black XLT. Very nice, but all I could see was those ugly dang tail lights and the sparkle paint. The sales guy started praising the new tuxedo black paint, and I said stop, you don't want to go there with me. The 5.0 with the 6 speed was very peppy. It was so quiet. I do like the interior and it has some very nice electronics. I told him starting out that he was wasting his time on me, to just let me look, that I knew he would not come off enough for me to buy. At the end I told him I would take it if he knocked $10,000 off and all he would do was $7000.

Yes, Bankston. I picked one that had been on the lot for 6 months, so they are going to want to move it, get it off the floor plan.

still have only driven the 5.0s in the new RR products, and you know you can do FX2 or Harley tails. Try PMing PawPaw and see how he likes his truck....

Yeah I bet you'll get a call Jim. Would you keep yours or trade it in? If you have your stock wheels you could keep the Roush's for a new truck

Fixed a speaker issue I was having... the rear window disconnected my rear speakers since the harness adapter was longer. Took the rear doors apart in no time (so easy I have it memorized) and then zip tied the harness to the door and re connected the speakers and no more rubbing or anything. Also vacuumed out my Amsoil filter and topped of oil and washer fluid and lubed my doors. Went to install my Shaker 500 HU just to tie me over until I get the JVC later this summer and I needed an antenna adapter as the new radios have a female input. So I ordered that of amazon for 9.94 with free shipping so it will be here in a few days. Working at campus tonight from 7-11 for the town fireworks. They needed two buses so the asked if two of us could do it. I won't be home til midnight

Went and lowered/tightened my spare tire a little while ago. Looks like a FPM will be on the "to do" list. I'll tell ya what, it's really nice having the spare tightened up. I was going crazy listening/feeling it beat off the frame going down the road. It's like a whole new truck now

Looks like the previous owner had lowered the spare tire quite a bit judging by all the scratches on the handle/extensions. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

A video someone posted on LightningRodder. Basically using the same clips as a movie from '05.

BTW, how does it feel now calling Sarah your wife instead of GF or Fiance?

I know it's completely different and no comparison, but after driving Shannon's new 5.0 Mustang I will say the new 5.0's are incredible. As soon as I can afford one I will buy it.

Just saw that movie last night an definitly thought it was the best one yet, hotter girls ( trust me, not saying Megan Fox isn't hot...), and bigger/cooler guns. Yep, that'll do it for me. Kinda makes you wonder though with that video. ^

I still want to see the new Transformers, but I just thought it was funny that they re-used some of that footage. Especially something that old.

Ugh, not looking forward to work tomorrow. It was a nice 3 day weekend, though.
