They have really dressed up the XLTs. I really like the dash and instrument panel and it's hard to believe they have the screen readout, the sync, and all the gadgets in an XLT. Of course, you pay for it.

As to the 5.0, it ran good, shifted well, but no better than my 5.4 with a tuner. If I drive another one, I want to get it on the highway at 70 and see how resonsive it is. My truck is ready to go with plenty left at 70. The thing is, you don't feel you have to have a tuner. I don't think I could ever buy the ecoboost, but would like to drive it for comparison.

There's alot of mustang mods that can be done to those trucks as long as the person doing the mods knows how to tweek them for the sport track......

One of the differences in the motor is the intake...a single bore throttle body is used on a single bore intake on the 4.6 3v sort trac.....if a person finds an intake and a double bore tb off a mustang 4.6 3v it should work and you'll get more air...

One thing different on the 5.0, the power steering pump is off the crank shaft rather than a separate pump. This is great until you have a problem with it. It was done on the mid 60s Lincoln 460 engines, so nothing new.

The swelling in Maggie's leg is gone and she's back to her rambunctious self. I think her feelings were hurt worse than the leg, something got her instead of her getting it. It was either a momma rabbit protecting her nest or an armadillo.

One RR gone with some crackers and P butter. Nap time maybe.

Got the rims back. The 2 left side was bad out of balance. There was some weights missing. Whet ahead and had all 4 done. Rides smooth again.
