I'm pooped! Got the yard mowed. Man it was hot! Got the window all back together on the truck. Had to clean the contacts on the switch. The dealer called about 5:00. They decided to accept my offer. I told him I was too busy, and would come get it next Saturday if they had not sold it already. A black XLT, grey interior, 5.0. 3.55 LS. Loaded pretty well for an XLT.

Thanks! Really have mixed feelings about it. I love the looks of my truck and it's still a good one. My wife just worries a lot on the highway, late at night, with the 133,000 miles. I would need to spend a lot on maintenance in the next 2 or 3 months, so that can go toward the purchase.

Damn boat motor. I got it launched at the dock, went and parked the truck, came back and it was kind of hard to start. It started up and I took off. Got about 100' from the ramp and it stalled. This was at 2:00. By 2:30 I got it started twice and was able to move a total of 10' and by 3:00 I got it started enough times to get closer to the dock and at 3:15 I got to the ramp. Not sure if I got bad gas or what but when it did start it ran great, except for the stalling part
Of course there was a Bass Tournament today and there was probably 20 boats getting ready to load up. One of them was upset with me because I tied the one ramp up for maybe 10 minutes. I didn't think that was too bad since I was by myself.
