Let's start over......
he must have fealt the room to be a little slow you know like our boostless trucks.
Stealth on a side note i noticed a few days ago you asking about the big socket for the hubs on our trucks. I got side tracked at that time but if you are still needing one I have one your more than welcome to borrow.

Make sure it's not the anchor plate bolts. It's more of a bump/angle turn rattle while slow. You'll hear at highway speeds if you hit a sharp bump. Make sure they're tight. If you loose the right when while driving, it can make a mess up there. Cost yuh a tire and rim among other things.
That might be a way to check the Tie Rods, but you can just pull on the wheel and check for play. Jacked up or not.
I did the same thing when my anchor plate became loose, - I could not find what was making that noise, -ticked me off. It finally fell out, then the brakes went TWANG when I applied them. Pulled her over right away, then nursed her home. Luckily for me it wasn't the opposite bolt. Like I said in the other post, when those fall out, you tear up the front end as soon as you hit the brakes.
You know what I'm referring to ? Need a diagram of it, I have the DVD loaded..

Oh alright, here's the diagram -
Yea, I went public on this site when I couldn't figure it out. I think I posted other power train because I thought it was a front end tie rod problem. The same thing happened to user DYNOTECH. Yea, it fooled me once. Stick a socket on those 4 bolts (2 per side). Check it anyway. Sounds like you may have the same thing going on.

Got sent home from work at campus early... campus closed at 2 cause of heat. Then worked Target at 6. Sucks because I worked on campus til 245 and supposed to be until 4 so I lose $$. O well My ride home from job #1 was 100-104* Tranny temps were at an all time high off 153. It usually runs at 141 on the highway
