I am very tempted to remind him of a deal he made me a few years ago when I was ready to say screw it and leave the company. He told me he would help me buy an old Mack for a restoration project/show truck but he is building a new house and I have no where to work on it or store it other than here at work and that would go over like a fart in church with everyone at work right now. Oh well...... it was a fun thought.

I do how ever have a back up project I am trying to convince my wife that I need at the moment. I am trying to find another John Deere to work on after I am done with this one that I can turn into a dedicated loader dirt mover. I am trying to find a really rough 318 or 322, I would love to find a 430 but they are just so damn expensive.

Just got back from Harrisburg. Left a little after 6:30 this morning and got home a little after 4. Drove my dads truck on the way back. It really made me notice that my truck's suspension has 122,000 miles on it I couldn't believe how much smoother it rode than mine, although my leaf spring might play a big part in that.
The only thing I didn't like was the way the tranny acted. It unlocked the TQ or kicked out of OD everytime you let off and got back on the gas. Where mine only unlocks the TQ when you take it off of CC and touch the gas and doesn't kick out of OD unless it's a fairly steep hill. It also seemed to have more pull up to 30mph than mine does but mine seems to have more over 30mph than his. Did they tune the newer ones different than the 04/05's? His is an 07 FX4.
